Recognized as one of the most influential women lawyers in Los Angeles by The Los Angeles Business Journal, Helen represents public and private companies, their directors, officers and principal shareholders before the courts and in arbitration proceedings.
She serves as the vice co-chair of Thompson Coburn's Business Litigation group.
Helen has successfully defended clients in multiple shareholder derivative suits, nationwide securities and commodities class actions, and related opt-out litigation, and guided companies and their officers through regulatory investigations.
Her clients have included global financial services firms, financial services and health care executives, media companies, and major manufacturers, among others. For these clients, Helen carefully analyzes a dispute, works proactively to find all possible solutions, and tenaciously advocates for her clients through litigation or successful settlement.
Helen is a graduate of Harvard College and the Yale Law School, where she was note editor of the Yale Law Journal. She also holds a degree from the Julliard School of Music for classical piano performance.
