Prior to attending law school, Ms. Yang worked as a principal software engineer for a technology company in Silicon Valley and developed web-based applications for managing mobile devices. Before that, she worked as a senior software designer for a major global telecommunication company where she worked on the next generation of the world's leading private branch exchange system.
Ms. Yang, a native of China, studied in Moscow Russia for three years before coming to the United States. In 1996, she received a B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science, with high honors, from The University of California, at Berkeley.
