Ian Saffer focuses his practice on trademark and copyright litigation and counseling. Mr. Saffer handles worldwide trademark and copyright acquisition, clearance, registration and licensing matters, including domain name acquisition and disputes. He has first-chaired more than a dozen trials and regularly appears in federal and state courts and in various alternative dispute resolution forums. He also advises large and small businesses on a wide variety of other intellectual property-related issues, including rights of publicity, Internet-related matters, and patent litigation. He also has been retained as a mediator and as an expert witness in copyright and trademark matters. Mr. Saffer advises clients in a variety of industries, including media and entertainment, software, resorts, food and beverage, and financial services.
