Culpepper was previously a partner at Robins Kaplan in Atlanta, where he focused on advising technology clients. In addition to his law degree from Vanderbilt, Culpepper has a degree in aerospace engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

MailChimp’s technology is currently used by more than nine million business around the world. The company, which is self-funded and independent, was founded in 2001.
