Wes Dorman focuses his practice on corporate transactions. He has experience handling matters including entity formation, operation, and reorganization and dissolution for domestic and foreign corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships/joint ventures, and limited partnerships. Wes has negotiated domestic and international mergers and acquisitions for both buyers and sellers, and has worked with the consolidation of businesses.

Throughout his practice, Wes has negotiated merger/asset/stock purchase agreements, stock lock-up agreements, employment and non-competition agreements, leases, notes and security agreements, and other related documentation. He has also handled private placements of securities and filings for exempt transactions (including the drafting of private placement memoranda and state blue-sky filing requirements), public securities work (33 and 34 Act), as well as investigations under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Wes received his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, his M.B.A from The University of Texas Graduate School of Business, is a Certified Public Accountant and earned his his B.B.A in Accounting from Texas Tech University.
