James Crawford Orr is a member of the firm’s Senior Trial Group and founding partner of the New Jersey office. He has extensive litigation experience in the areas of product liability, professional liability, toxic torts and class actions. Jim has also handled actions for clients involving insurance coverage, bad faith, libel and slander, discrimination, assault and battery, negligence and toxic tort litigation. Additionally, he has lectured before lawyers, accountants and physicians on professional liability, expert testimony, toxic tort litigation and various medical subjects. During his career, Jim has written numerous articles on handling multi-party litigation.

Jim is an experienced litigator who sets the pace for his colleagues and adversaries alike. His creative approach has made him a go-to adviser for high-profile class-action litigation and for innovative ideas surrounding mediation and negotiation. Jim serves on the Seton Hall Law School Board of Visitors and is a former chairman of the Committee of Managers for the Llewellyn Park, NJ, Historic Community.
