James Lawrence concentrates in commercial litigation and his experience encompasses all aspects of the litigation process, including case strategy, pre-trial briefing, depositions, hearings, trial preparations and trial. Mr. Lawrence regularly represents regional, national and international clients in a wide range of business disputes, including breach of contract, fiduciary duty claims, enforcement of non-competition agreements, trade secret litigation, product liability and complex class action defense. Mr. Lawrence’s trial experience involves such issues as non-compete agreements, commercial sales contracts, and construction and insurance disputes.

Clients of Mr. Lawrence include national and international utility companies, banking and finance institutions, consumer products manufacturers, transportation companies, residential developers, telecommunications companies, and international retailers.

Mr. Lawrence began his legal career with a law firm in New York City. While in law school, Mr. Lawrence was a member of the Cardozo Law Review and was named an H. Burt Mack Scholar.
