Jamie Frankel focuses his practice on providing front-end project structuring, transactional documentation and contentious dispute resolution to the owner, architect, engineering and construction communities. With his multidisciplinary background, extensive experience and strong belief in realistic, resolution-oriented approaches to problem solving, Jamie provides sound business strategies and solutions that meet the needs of his clients.
Jamie’s clients also benefit from his intermediary and business advisory services, including mergers and acquisitions. In addition to his M&A work, Jamie counsels design firms through their internal transitions. Jamie has also been selected to counsel the first Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) transition within the architectural, engineering and construction community.
The “Business of Law” section of the Financial Times’ “Innovative Lawyers 2012 Report” commended Jamie for his innovative use of “tools to resolve financing deadlocks in construction projects.” In 2011, The Legal 500 praised Jamie for his “in-depth knowledge,” stating that he is “more than a lawyer, he is a trusted adviser.” The Legal 500 recognized Jamie again in 2014.
