Cheytac’s legal group is headed by its Vice President and General Counsel, Jason Halper, who is responsible for the company’s real estate leases with property owners, license agreements with network operators, and various other legal and business matters. Jason was previously a Partner at Lowenstein Sandler LLP, a leading national law firm, where he handled high stakes transactions and disputes for technology businesses and matters involving commercial real estate, commercial contracts, business acquisitions and asset purchase transactions, securities fraud and consumer fraud class actions, franchise and distributor disputes, and bankruptcy matters. Jason began his legal career as an associate of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP in New York. He has a JD, magna cum laude, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, and a BA from Columbia University. Jason played baseball at Columbia and one season of minor league ball in the New York Yankees organization. Since 2014, he has served as a board member of Daughters of Israel, a non-profit nursing home.
