Mr. Torres represents management in the area of labor and employment law. He litigates class actions and single-plaintiff cases under various federal and state employment laws, including the ADEA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, Title VII, ERISA, and the Illinois Human Rights Act. His experience includes litigating employment-related contract and tort actions.
Mr. Torres also represents management in the area of labor relations, including grievance arbitration proceedings, proceedings before the American Arbitration Association, and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.
Mr. Torres is a member of the firm’s Hiring Committee, Associate Mentoring Committee (co-chair), and is an Adjunct Professor in the Trial Advocacy program at Northwestern University School of Law. In addition to his pro bono work with the firm, Mr. Torres volunteers time to several community organizations.
