Jeffrey D. Lowe is a senior counsel in Holland & Knight's Atlanta office. As part of the firm's Real Estate Section, Mr. Lowe focuses his practice on a wide range of transactions including real estate lending, sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructuring and private equity.

Mr. Lowe’s extensive mortgage loan experience includes the origination of commercial mortgage loans secured by hotels, residential and mixed-use properties and office buildings, including loans to be included in commercial mortgage-backed securitizations (and related bridge and mezzanine loans), construction loans, multi-asset and multi-state loans, loan restructurings, convertible loans, syndicated loans, and the acquisition and sale of loans.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lowe has also represented purchasers and sellers in single asset and multi-asset acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties.

His representative transactions include the following:

mortgage loan originations ranging from $25 million to over $2.25 billion for various institutional lenders
mortgage loan restructurings ranging from $50 million to over $3 billion for various lenders and borrowers
acquisition and disposition of real estate assets ranging from $30 million to over $4.5 billion for various clients
development of commercial and residential properties including retail outlets, hotels, condominiums, office buildings, theme parks and sports complexes for various clients
Chapter 11 proceedings, including the restructuring of property-level debt, for various real estate holding companies
