Jeffrey S. Gundersen

Jeffrey S. Gundersen is a partner and intellectual property lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP and chair of the firm’s Mechanical & Electromechanical Technologies Practice. He provides counsel relating to patent acquisition and enforcement, product design, patent infringement matters, licensing, and transactions. In addition to the preparation of intellectual property agreements, patent opinions, and transactional due diligence opinions, he also counsels multi-national companies regarding global patent prosecution strategies.

Mr. Gundersen worked as a nuclear engineer for an energy company for several years before attending law school. As a nuclear engineer, Mr. Gundersen concentrated in the areas of nuclear accident analysis and radiation dose and shielding calculations.
