Jennifer is a partner in Balch’s Jackson office. She is an experienced litigation attorney who practices in the areas of product liability, toxic and environmental torts, wrongful death, and negligence cases, taking matters from inception through appeal. For more than 13 years Jennifer has been defending a myriad of product manufacturers and possesses a specialized practice in silica litigation. Jennifer has defended thousands of silica claims across the Southeast for large multi-national corporations to small closely-held family businesses. Jennifer obtained innumerable voluntary dismissals for her clients as a result of an innovative motion practice, skillful deposition questioning, and artful discovery. She conceptualized, drafted, and won a never-before-tried defense on behalf of an air compressor company which ended silica suits against it nationwide.

In addition to silica litigation, Jennifer has a strong general litigation practice. She has defended multiple construction defect cases, resulting in pre-trial victories for her clients. She is experienced in defending premises liability cases, asbestos exposure, and gas explosions, among others. Jennifer brings a diversity of experience to her practice, resulting in a deep well from which to draw.
