Jennifer Lerner is an associate in the Firm's Litigation department. She joined Cooley LLP in 2007 and is resident in the New York office.
Ms. Lerner's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, and also includes intellectual property litigation, securities litigation, and white collar criminal defense work.
Before joining the Firm, Ms. Lerner clerked for the Honorable Debra Freeman, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the Southern District of New York.
Ms. Lerner received her JD, cum laude, from New York University School of Law in 2004, where she was a Dean's Scholar and a Note Editor for the NYU Annual Survey of American Law. Upon graduation, Ms. Lerner was awarded the Ann Petluck Poses Memorial Prize for outstanding work in a clinical course requiring student practice. Ms. Lerner received her BA from Stanford University in 1998.
Ms. Lerner is admitted to practice in New York and is a member of the Federal Bar Council and the New York State Bar Association.
