John Hsu focuses his practice on general liability cases involving personal injury and property damage claims in state and federal courts for national commercial clients and individual owners. He has particular experience litigating complex personal injury claims involving premises, automobile, construction and property damage. John handles all aspects of litigation, including depositions, motion practice and trials. His trial experience includes a defense verdict in New York State Supreme Court on a premises liability claim for a national restaurant client and appearances in Kings County, Nassau County and the Southern District.
John has written and argued substantive motions in state and federal court. He has successfully defended trucking carriers, commercial transportation carriers, taxi and livery fleets and national restaurant chains, as well as owners and general contractors in construction site accidents.
