ohn devotes his entire practice to representing public and private owners, contractors, engineers, architects, and construction managers in litigation and arbitration related to public and private procurement, and other matters in the construction, design, and manufacturing industries.

John’s practice focuses on resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Part of his practice includes transactions; he drafts agreements and counsels parties through the financing, bidding, procurement, administration, and closing of projects. John’s practice encompasses public and private projects across the United States, including matters recently in Oregon, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, and Washington. John also has considerable experience dealing with public and private projects located abroad, including recently in South America, Japan, Philippines, New Zealand, India, Guam, Diego Garcia, Kwajalein, the Marshall Islands, Vietnam, Canada, England, France, Monaco, Qatar, Iraq, and Hawaii. He is trained and certified to serve on dispute review boards (DRBs).

John’s experience includes serving as Vice President of Administration and General Counsel for a large public works infrastructure contractor in New York City. While there, he supervised project managers for the company’s largest projects and was responsible for supervising the company’s project accounting and project scheduling functions. Representative project owners there included the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority, the New York Metropolitan Transit Authority, and the Delaware River Port Authority.
