John D. Shultz

John D. Shultz serves as counsel in Morgan Lewis's Mergers and Acquisitions Practice, part of the Business and Finance Practice. Mr. Shultz was a partner of the firm from 1983 to 2003. He has held numerous leadership roles within the firm, including Chairman of the Los Angeles Office Management Committee, Recruiting Committee, Lateral Partner Entry Committee, Practice Development Committee, Professional Evaluation Committee and Business Plan Committee. He has also served as a member of the Legal Opinion Committee, Audit Response Committee, Professional Development Committee and Securities Trading Committee.

Mr. Shultz’s practice focuses on corporate law, with an emphasis on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, consolidations, reorganizations and related transactions.

Mr. Shultz began his career practicing corporate law on Wall Street with a prestigious international law firm, focusing on mergers, acquisitions, public offerings and private placements. Mr. Shultz is active in professional organizations.

Mr. Shultz is admitted to practice in California and New York.
