John Simonis is a partner in the Real Estate practice of Paul Hastings and is chair of the firm’s Orange County Office. He is chair of the Real Estate practice and co-chairs the firm’s Military Base Closing and Redevelopment Practice practice. Mr. Simonis represents landowners, investors, developers, contractors, and users in connection with real estate transactions and development matters, and has substantial experience in connection with real estate joint ventures, purchases and sales, leasing, master planned communities, mixed-use projects, construction and grading, infrastructure, development agreements, financings, and entity formation. He has particular experience in connection with commercial, industrial, retail and mixed-use developments, including acquisition/disposition, leasing, entitlement, construction, infrastructure development and land-use controls.
