John is a trial lawyer who represents individuals and businesses in a wide range of litigation matters. He has experience handling complex civil litigation, business torts, contract disputes, financial services litigation, real estate disputes, medical malpractice, commercial trucking accidents, products liability and construction litigation. His litigation and trial practice also includes representing and advising lending institutions on issues involving commercial loan workouts and foreclosures. He has extensive courtroom experience, and has conducted numerous trials to jury verdict as either first-chair or second-chair counsel.

While earning his law degree from the University of North Carolina, John was a member and coach of the Broun National Trial Team and treasurer of the Trial Law Academy.
