John Hamill helps clients solve complex and challenging problems in a variety of subject areas throughout the field of complex commercial litigation.

He is a highly regarded first chair trial and appellate lawyer who has represented clients in complex matters in federal and state courts nationwide, as well as in many arbitrations. Lately his practice has focused on antitrust, healthcare, business-to-business and RICO litigation. He regularly counsels clients in a wide range of antitrust and unfair competition matters. He also has extensive experience representing clients in complex telecommunications litigation, including appellate, local competition, regulatory and class action matters. At his prior firm he chaired the firm's antitrust and its health care practices.

John has served on the board of governors of the Seventh Circuit Bar Association and the board of directors of the Chicago chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He has taught antitrust law seminars at various forums. He also has an active pro bono practice.
