John McDonald is a partner in the firm’s Corporate, Private Equity/Investment Funds and Venture Capital practices, resident in our New York office.

John counsels clients on a full range of corporate transactional matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions involving both private equity and strategic buyers and sellers, as well as venture capital and other financing transactions.

John also has a substantial practice advising clients on private equity fund formation and fundraising, LP and GP investments in private equity and other investment funds, and portfolio investments involving operating companies and real estate assets.
