John K. Kim concentrates his practice in the areas of patent, trademark and copyright law. He is experienced in preparing and prosecuting patent applications on diverse technologies ranging from complex mechanical and electrical devices to business methods. Since his admission to the Patent Bar in 1993, he has also conducted numerous patent infringement, validity and due diligence investigations.

In addition to his patent experience, he has substantial experience in preparing and prosecuting trademark and copyright applications throughout the world and manages large, worldwide intellectual property portfolios on behalf of his clients. John also counsels clients in the resolution of intellectual property disputes.
