Jonathan Vessey's practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures and corporate governance, as well as on securities offerings and securities compliance.

Jonathan represents a variety of clients ranging from entrepreneurial startups, privately held industry leaders and publicly traded, multinational companies to hedge funds and private equity firms. He has a wealth of experience in private equity work and representation of portfolio companies. He also regularly advises clients in all aspects of entity formation, corporate finance, securities law compliance, corporate governance, Hart-Scott-Rodino filings, consulting and outside vendor agreements, complex investment structuring, purchase of non-standard securitizable assets and other general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Stinson Leonard Street, Jonathan worked for over a decade in the New York office of Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP. He also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Chad and managed the Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative’s programs in thirteen countries in West and Central Africa.
