Jonathan Rivinus is an associate in the Tax practice group and a member of the Firm's Business department. He joined the Firm in 2011 and is resident in the Colorado office.

Mr. Rivinus' practice focuses upon taxation of partnerships and corporations in a variety of contexts, including mergers and acquisitions, insolvency and restructurings, as well as structuring and drafting partnership and limited liability company agreements.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Rivinus clerked for Honorable Carol Glowinsky & the Honorable Andrew R. Macdonald of the Twentieth Judicial District in Boulder.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Rivinus worked in the financial industry as an associate at Lehman Brothers, as well as holding accounting positions at the Jackson Hole Ski Corporation and Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole.

Mr. Rivinus earned his JD from the University of Colorado Law School in 2010, where he was a Rothgerber Moot Court member and a recipient of the Public Service Pledge Award. He completed his MBA with a focus on accounting from the University of Phoenix in 2005, as well as earning a BA in economics from Dartmouth College in 1999.

Mr. Rivinus is admitted to practice in Colorado and Wyoming.
