Joseph A. Gorman is an associate in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP’s San Francisco office and is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.

Mr. Gorman previously served as a law clerk to Judge Andrew J. Kleinfeld of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and as a law clerk to Judge Garland E. Burrell, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.

Mr. Gorman earned his law degree magna cum laude in 2009 from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he was a Dean's Scholar and was elected to Order of the Coif. During law school, Mr. Gorman was a member of the San Diego Law Review and the school's National Moot Court Team. He was also a recipient of the Pro Bono Service Award. In 2006, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
Mr. Gorman is a member of the California and New York bars. He is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Federal Circuits and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
