Joseph H. Mieskowski

Joe Mieskowski's practice focuses on U.S. and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and on general corporate matters. He has advised clients with respect to acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, commercial contracts, and other significant matters involving both public and private companies.

Recent transactions in which Joe has participated include: Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company's $2.4 billion acquisition of Nationwide Financial Services; American Greetings' simultaneous divestiture of its retail store business and acquisition of the wholesale business of Schurman Fine Papers, including the Papyrus trademark; and Timken's $330 million sale of its needle roller bearings business, which primarily serves customers in the automotive original-equipment sector, to Japan's JTEKT Corporation.

Joe is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
