Joseph Hernandez is a litigation associate with the firm. He is a 2008 graduate of Yale University where he was a four-year member of the varsity golf team and a 2014 graduate of American University, Washington College of Law where he was Executive Editor for two years for the Criminal Law Practitioner. Prior to law school, he was a member of the investigation team at the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill & Offshore Drilling, as well as a paralegal for a large DC firm specializing in white-collar litigation and government investigations. Before joining the firm, he served in the Maryland Office of the Public Defender in Prince George’s County managing cases and trials in the District Court. He is barred in Virginia, Maryland and District of Columbia with a practice focused upon criminal/white-collar defense, construction litigation and transactions, commercial and business disputes, and personal injury.
