Mr. Knight served as lead counsel in state and federal district courts on a wide spectrum of commercial disputes. He has handled numerous high-stakes appeals, presenting oral argument to the Texas Supreme Court, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and most Texas intermediate appellate courts. He has frequently taken on the Texas Attorney General's Office, either in court or across the negotiating table. Mr. Knight practiced at Baker Botts LLP from 1991 through 2014, where he served as both the head of the Austin litigation department and the partner in charge of the Austin office.
