Joseph T. Moran concentrates his practice on commercial and construction litigation, First Amendment/media law, and technology/Internet litigation.

He has significant experience assisting corporate, energy, and media clients with litigation, arbitration, mediation, and appellate matters, and counseling clients on relationship preparedness to avoid litigation. Mr. Moran has also litigated and counseled clients on non-competition, First Amendment, and technology/e-commerce issues; and privacy, electronic discovery, media, and ethical issues relating to Internet usage in workplace and media settings.

Mr. Moran has been a speaker at local and national conferences and CLE seminars sponsored by organizations such as the Federal Court Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and Practising Law Institute, as well as local universities, graduate schools, and corporate entities. He also has written for and served on the faculty of the International Bar Association Conference on Cyberspace Media.

While in law school, he was the business editor of the Journal of Law and Commerce.
