Joshua L. Oppenheimer

Joshua L. Oppenheimer focuses his practice on governmental affairs and on issues relating to governmental ethics, lobbying laws and campaign finance. He has experience representing clients before the New York State legislative and executive branches, focusing mainly on legislation and regulation involving health, environmental, labor, and transportation policy, as well as racing and gaming issues. Additionally, Josh has wide-ranging experience advising clients on compliance with the complex federal, state and local laws that govern political activity, lobbying, governmental procurement, and general interactions between government and the private sector. Josh provides political compliance counsel to corporations, nonprofit organizations, political parties, political committees, candidates and advocacy groups. Prior to joining the firm, he worked with various members of the New York State Assembly, as well as the New York State Board of Elections and New York State Attorney General’s office.
