While in law school, Joshua served as a notes editor of the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology and was also a member of the Holderness Moot Court.

Joshua received his B.S. in mechanical engineering, magna cum laude, from North Carolina State University. He is admitted to practice before the USPTO.
