I served GT from Austin and Silicon Valley offices. My team and I focused on helping technology companies and financial entities better navigate complex IP and cyber issues. I worked primarily in the transactional context--M&A, licensing, open source, and enforcement--but also from a strategic and business operational perspective, covering litigation, transactions, and finance (e.g., IP & IP risk valuation).

My team and I focused on closing deals and resolving problems expeditiously; and ultimately on improving business performance over the long haul. This may mean considering every aspect of a client's external (legal) and internal environment--from paralegals to board members, from product developers to legal officers. Outside counsel are generally deployed to put out fires (or ignite them). We, at Greenberg, have been equally focused on designing systems that mitigate problems ex ante, and improve business outcomes.
