Kara E. Nelson is Director of Legal Recruiting at Foley & Lardner LLP. Kara provides oversight of entry level and lateral recruiting activities and support for all programs involving attorney orientation, training and development, feedback and evaluation, and partner selection.

Kara joined the firm as a summer associate in 1997 and became an associate in the Litigation Department in our Milwaukee office in 1998. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from Marquette University Law School, where she was student articles editor of the Marquette Law Review.
