Katie Lyons’s practice focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration, including representing clients in complex accounting and financial matters, tort and contract disputes, and state tax defense. She represents clients in the e-commerce, petroleum, retail, and manufacturing industries.

Katie’s experience includes a significant role in internal corporate investigations, government investigations, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act compliance.

In addition, Katie’s practice includes defending one of the three national credit reporting agencies in the United States against individual consumer litigation brought under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Katie is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. Through Jones Day’s association with the City Attorneys’ Office of Grand Prairie, Katie has participated in the prosecution of several municipal cases. She is also a co-chair for the Dallas Bar Association’s Legal Lines.
