Kathryn Alessi, a partner in Goodwin Procter’s Securities Litigation & White Collar Defense Group, focuses her practice on securities litigation, governmental and regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings, and complex business litigation. Recognized as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in the area of securities litigation, Ms. Alessi represents public and private financial services companies, technology companies, healthcare and life sciences companies, their boards of directors and officers, and private equity firms and their portfolio companies in securities class action lawsuits, derivative litigation, public company merger and acquisition litigation, private company post-closing disputes, and litigation surrounding private financings. She regularly counsels senior management and boards of directors on avoiding litigation risk and how best to manage disputes when they arise.
