Katie Colopy has extensive experience representing corporate clients in litigation matters, with a focus on employment. Her practice includes representing clients in complex commercial litigation matters and defending employers in employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, breach of contract, benefits, wage and hour, and tort litigation involving individual, multiplaintiff, class, and collective claims. Katie also has extensive experience in enforcing mandatory arbitration agreements and in counseling and representing employers in matters involving covenants not to compete, employee raiding, and misappropriation of trade secrets. In addition, Katie counsels clients regarding employment-related issues, assists with internal investigations, and conducts both employee and management training.
Katie has been lead counsel in numerous jury trials and arbitrations in both employment and nonemployment-related cases. Representative clients in recent matters include Bridgestone/Firestone, Ernst & Young, and General Electric.
