Kevin MacLeod is the Head of the New York Capital Markets Group at Vedder Price and a Shareholder in the firm's Corporate practice area. He represents issuers and underwriters in connection with capital markets transactions and other securities law-related matters. During the past five years, he has advised issuers or underwriters on more than 135 completed securities offerings with aggregate proceeds in excess of $50 billion.
Mr. MacLeod has centered his practice on offerings of debt and equity securities, particularly representing leading investment banks in capital markets transactions related to the aviation and satellite industries. Many transactions he has worked on have been recognized as “deals of the year” by industry publications. He has extensive experience with enhanced equipment trust certificates (EETCs), secured and unsecured high yield notes, aircraft lease securitizations and Ex-Im Bank guaranteed notes. Mr. MacLeod has regularly advised companies operating around the globe on offerings of debt and equity securities, IPOs, tender offers and consent solicitations.
Before joining Vedder Price, Mr. MacLeod served as special counsel at the New York office of an Am Law 100 firm. He has also worked in London and Singapore. Mr. MacLeod graduated from McGill University Faculty of Law in 2003, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the McGill Law Journal.
