Kieran Ringgenberg is a partner at SL Environmental Law Group, where he manages complex environmental litigation on behalf of the firm’s public entity and utility clients.

Kieran has extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in a range of high-stakes litigation, including class actions and product liability cases. He has taken and defended more than 60 depositions, and prepared numerous witnesses for trial, including of experts and senior executives of major companies. He has also argued case dispositive motions in state and federal courts and handled complex mediations and arbitrations. Prior to joining SL, Kieran focused on intellectual property and antitrust litigation at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, where he was a litigation partner for eight years. There, he represented Oracle in a copyright infringement and computer abuse trial that resulted in a $50 million jury award for Oracle and Apple in a multi-billion dollar antitrust class action trial that resulted in a complete jury verdict and judgment in favor of Apple.

Kieran received a B.A. in Philosophy with distinction from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He received a J.D., magna cum laude, from New York University School of Law, where he was Order of the Coif and Executive Editor of the NYU Law Review. After graduating from law school, Kieran served as a law clerk to the Honorable Pasco M. Bowman of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

In his spare time, Kieran enjoys backpacking, fly fishing, and snowboarding with his wife and two children.
