Kimball Dean Parker is an associate in Quinn Emanuel’s Silicon Valley office. Prior to joining Quinn, Kimball worked as a confidential assistant to United States Secretary of Health and Human Services, Michael O. Leavitt. Kimball traveled to Singapore, Egypt, Cote d’Ivoire, Nicaragua, France, Costa Rica and China in advance of Secretary Leavitt in order to plan trips addressing avian flu, import safety, and HIV/AIDS. He also traveled to fifteen domestic locations to plan tips addressing electronic health records, the Indian Health Service, and Hurricanes Gustav and Ike.

Before working for the government, Kimball played collegiate soccer and was an All-American nominee. He also worked as a river guide on the Colorado River, where he ran Cataract Canyon, Desolation Canyon, and Westwater Canyon. From 2003 to 2005, Kimball lived in Ecuador as a Mormon missionary.
