Kristen Lynn

is a senior associate in King & Spalding’s Business Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Lynn focuses in complex commercial litigation, including unfair competition, licensing, contract, fraud, false advertising and False Claims Act disputes, primarily in the technology sector. Ms. Lynn also has significant experience with intellectual property matters, and has litigated copyright, trade secret, and trademark matters in federal courts and administrative tribunals across the globe. She has participated in all phases of litigation, including trial and appeal, in federal, bankruptcy and state courts. In 2012, Ms. Lynn was recognized as a Rising Star under 40 years-of-age by Georgia SuperLawyers − an award given to less than 2.5% of lawyers in the state of Georgia.

Ms. Lynn is committed to pro bono work, including working on a petition for writ of certiorari to the United States Supreme Court on behalf of an indigent client, and representing indigent clients in federal civil rights actions and eviction defense proceedings. She also advises non-profits on copyright matters.

Before joining King & Spalding, Ms. Lynn graduated, magna cum laude, from Georgia State University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Lynn was Assistant Legislative Editor for the Georgia State Law Review and honored with the Professor David J. Maleski Excellence in Torts Award, Excellence in Criminal Law Award, and Excellence in Juvenile Law Award. She received her B.A. in Corporate and Broadcast Communications, cum laude, from Elon University in 2002.

Ms. Lynn is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Georgia and Middle District of Georgia, and all Georgia state courts. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the American Bar Association.
