Kristy M. Wagner has joined Duane Morris LLP's Energy Practice Group as a partner in New York and Washington, D.C., the firm announced.

Wagner’s addition bolsters the firm's energy, environment and resources and construction practice groups. Wagner joins Duane Morris from Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld LLP.

Wagner represents project owners and developers, construction contractors and equipment suppliers, in addition to equity investors, lenders and borrowers, in various domestic and international transactions, including debt and equity financings. Her substantial experience negotiating engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts spans a wide range of technologies including nuclear, solar, wind, coal, biomass and gasification power plants.

Wagner has served as lead counsel on several of the largest energy projects in the world, three of which won Deal of the Year honors from Project Finance and Project Finance International. In 2014, Wagner was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in Metro New York.

Wagner earned her J.D. in 2004 from Boston College Law School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in English and psychology in 2001 from Bucknell University. She was the senior class president of Bucknell University's class of 2001.
