Kurt A. Friesen

Kurt's practice focuses on fiduciary litigation and estate planning. He represents corporate and individual fiduciaries and beneficiaries in litigation matters in state and federal court, including trust termination actions and trust contests. Kurt also advises clients on a variety of complex estate and business planning matters, including the development of multigenerational estate plans, tax-efficient wealth transfers and succession plans for family businesses. In addition, he counsels clients on managing fiduciary risk and professional liability matters.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Kurt practiced in San Francisco, California and Chicago, Illinois representing corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of litigation matters, including securities and professional liability matters.
