Kwamina Thomas Williford is a partner in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office and a member of the firm's Litigation Section. She practices primarily in the area of compliance services and enforcement defense. Ms. Williford represents clients in internal investigations responding to and anticipating inquiries by various government agencies related to alleged improper and fraudulent activity. Ms. Williford draws upon her experience to advise clients on the design and implementation of compliance programs for healthcare companies, government contractors, higher education institutions and other highly regulated entities. She also represents clients before courts and administrative agencies related to contract disputes, statutory violations and state regulatory matters.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Williford served as a law clerk for the Honorable Gerald Bruce Lee in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
