Larry J. Bonney is a partner and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He represents owners, lenders and developers in all aspects of real estate related transactions, including sales, purchases, leasing, construction and financing, and loan workouts and restructuring. Mr. Bonney is a member of the Real Estate and Finance & Financial Institutions Practices, as well as the Energy and Food & Beverage Industry Teams.

Mr. Bonney has extensive experience in addressing real estate and title issues arising in the acquisition, development, construction and financing of wind, solar and other renewable energy projects across the U.S., including acquisition of real estate interests and development rights, permitting, and pre-acquisition, pre-construction or pre-finance land and development rights and entitlements review and audit. Mr. Bonney has worked on projects throughout the U.S. totaling several billion dollars in development costs.

Mr. Bonney’s practice also involves counseling manufacturing and service clients on all real estate related issues businesses encounter, including leasing and real estate portfolio management, facilities development, including construction, financing, governmental incentives procurement, zoning and permitting, real estate tax challenges, purchases, and sales. He also counsels clients in connection with real estate aspects of corporate mergers and acquisitions, and has substantial experience in multi-state purchase, disposition, development and finance projects.
