Lars Genieser is a registered patent attorney who focuses his intellectual property prosecution practice on pharmaceutical, chemical, mechanical, and medical technologies of domestic and foreign clients. Dr. Genieser actively manages complex international patent portfolios for new therapeutics in preparing and prosecuting patent applications. He has an active interest in nanotechnology, having, for example, prosecuted applications pertaining to quantum dots. Dr. Genieser prepares and prosecutes applications in the chemical process sector, for example, for water treatment technologies. He prepares infringement, freedom-to-operate, and validity opinions, as well as intellectual property licensing agreements. He combines a doctorate in chemical engineering with practical research experience in a range of chemical sciences and technologies in order to effectively understand, prepare, and prosecute patentable subject matter for his clients. Dr. Genieser's broad experience in industry and academia enables him to anticipate and appreciate challenges which technology-driven clients face in protecting their innovations.
