Laura McMahon focuses her international practice on securities matters, business transactions, and corporate governance. She regularly advises clients in capital market transactions, compliance with securities laws, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures. Since 2008, she has represented issuers in public and private debt and equity offerings with aggregate proceeds of $10.7 billion, and companies in acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures valued at more than $3.5 billion. A significant portion of Laura's practice involves cross-border transactions with Latin America, resulting in a depth of experience negotiating transactions in the region and working with Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking clients.
