Laura Kam has significant experience in complex commercial disputes, arbitration and civil antitrust litigation in state and federal courts nationwide.

She has particular experience in defense of higher education institutions, including defense of qui tam actions, whistleblower retaliation claims and Department of Education and state attorney general investigations.

Laura regularly counsels clients on antitrust compliance matters, including the premerger notification filing requirements of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976. She has successfully defended numerous Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice investigations of both proposed and consummated mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. Laura also regularly represents third parties with interests in such investigations.
