Laura Maria Gonzalez is an associate in Holland & Knight's Miami Litigation Practice Group and a member of the Latin America, Aviation and White Collar Defense and Investigations practice teams. Ms. Gonzalez represents corporations and individuals in cases involving the False Claims Act, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, internal investigations, fraud and healthcare fraud. She has also given presentations in both English and Spanish to companies on the obligations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the possible consequences for violations of the Act. Additionally, she is a member of the Latin American Investigations team which conducts internal investigations for companies in both the U.S. and Latin America.

Ms. Gonzalez has also been involved in both litigation and settlement negotiations for airline clients, evaluating the medical, damages, and products liability issues. She has given presentations of various topics relating to Aviation law. She frequently practices in both English and Spanish, serving clients in the U.S. and Central and South America.

Prior to entering into private practice, she served as a legal intern for the Honorable Juan Ramirez Jr., chief judge of the Florida Third District Court of Appeal. Ms. Gonzalez then worked as the staff attorney of the Third District Court of Appeal.
