Laura Giokas is the firm's Assistant General Counsel. As part of this role, she leads the firm's Conflicts Department and Audit Letter Department. Her responsibilities include directing and managing the firm's streamlined conflicts clearing process, researching and counseling on ethical and professional responsibility matters, supervising and providing training on conflicts clearing functions, drafting conflicts waiver letters and ethical walls, reviewing and approving audit letters, and conducting risk management continuing legal education sessions.

Prior to becoming Assistant General Counsel, Ms. Giokas was the firm's Conflicts Counsel and litigation associate in the St. Louis office.
