Lauren Friedman is an associate in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher's Orange County office, and is a member of the firm's Litigation Department.
Ms. Friedman’s practice focuses primarily on complex business litigation, and she has successfully represented clients in trade secret misappropriation cases, contractual disputes, business tort cases, unfair competition matters, and professional malpractice cases.
Ms. Friedman graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif in 2007 from Loyola Law School, where she was a Dean's Scholar, served on the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review, and authored the article Removal, Remand, and Other Procedural Issues Under the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005, 39 Loy. L.A. L. Rev. 995 (2006). She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global and International Studies with high honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2004. She has also studied at the American University in Cairo, Egypt and at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China.
Ms. Friedman currently serves on the Board of Directors for Human Options, an agency committed to helping abused women, their children and families rebuild their lives. She is actively involved in the Orange County Bar Association, having twice served on the Board of the Young Lawyers Division.
Ms. Friedman is admitted to practice in the State of California and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
